Work Starts!

Loose ends now tied up and we start preparing the interior this week ready for work to start on the bar and the cool room on Monday.

If all goes to plan we should be opening at the very beginning of August.

We had an excellent piece in the Lancaster Guardian last week, but I've been unable to find it online. They contacted me after seeing the minutes of the planning meeting on 25 June.

Licence Approved!

We now have a licence.

The planning application is being heard on Monday.

All being well we can start work and get ready to open, hopefully in July but certainly no later than August.

Applications In!

Premises License application in. Planning application in. It's all systems go.

Today I have been doing some very serious research, checking out bar snacks. Up to now I have found the finest pork pies and scotch eggs I've come across in a long time, made up the road in Cumbria using locally sourced products. However, other suggestions will always be gratefully received.
